Day 01: - Arrival in Paro, transfer to Thimphu : After arrival at Paro international Airport, you will be welcome by your guide and driver from FLY TO BHUTAN and drive towards Thimphu. Evening visit Thimphu Tashi Chho dzong. The Dzong means “ fortress of Glorious Religion” it was built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and was reconstructed into present structure by the late king. Over night at Thimphu
Day 02: - Thimphu – Punakha: Thimphu- sightseeing- Punakha- Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, visit Mini zoo: Here you can see just one animal Bhutan`s national – the Takin. This is an extremely rare member of the goat family & Buddha Point- the viewpoint is also the perfect place to take in some truly breathtaking views of the entire city of Thimphu, visit National Memorial Chorten and after lunch drive to Puankha the route a pass through Dochula (3140m, 10362ft from where a beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range can be seen, especially in clear winter days.
Day 03: - Punakha- Paro: After early breakfast, we will visit Punakha Dzong, the dzong straddle the confluence of two rivers and resembles a giant battleship. Its full name is “ Punthang Dechen phodrang” or Palace of Great happiness”. And short hike, Chimi Lhakhang, it take around 20-30mins walks from the road head, through cultivated fields and up a gentle slope. This Temple was built by lam Drukpa Kuenley (The Divine Madman) in 1499. Evening drive towards Paro. Over night at Paro.
Day 04: Paro - Taktsang Monastery, Tiger`s Nest – Sightseeing: Hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger`s nest): This is Bhutan`s most recognizable cultural icon perched 800m/2640ft up a seemingly sheer cliff. Even though it was sadly and strangely consumed by fire in April 1998 it has now been re-established to its previous beauty and visit Rimpung Dzong that means fortress in the heap of jewels. Zhabdrung, who till today is deeply revered by the Bhutanese people as a dynamical political and spiritual leader, built it in 1644. Especially from the other side of the river very nice pictures can be taken of the majestic Paro Dzong with Ta Dzong at the background. Evening walk around Paro. Stay Overnight at Paro
Day 05: Depart from Paro-Early breakfast at the hotel and then drive to the airport to board the flight. Your escort from Fly to Bhutan will assist you with exit formalities and bid you farewell.
