Gokyo via Chola Pass Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the most adventurous trekking areas in Everest region. Gokyo Chola Pass Everest Base Camp trekking trail also is known as Everest Circuit trekking. It follows the route via high pass called Cho-La Pass at 5330 meters into Everest Base Camp. This trek starts from Lukla. After one-day rest in Namche bazaar, it follows all the way to Gokyo Lake. After you reach Gokyo Lake you climb Gokyo-Ri (5480m) and from top of Gokyo Ri you enjoy eye-catching summit mountain view including Mt Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyo. You will cross Chola Pass ((5330m) and reach at Dzongla. After Dzongla you will move towards Gorakshep and ascent to Kalapathar(5545m) from where you enjoy an impressive up-close Scenery  of Mt. Everest. The next day you trek to Everest Base Camp. Your return route passes through Tyangboche, a place where a famous glorious monastery is situated. We take a rest there and enjoy the incredible scenery charming views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Kangega, Mt. Kwangde, Mt. Nuptse and back to Lukla airport. Finally fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 07: Trek Machchermo to Gokyo 4790 m, 5 hours walking

Day 08: Day hike to Gokyo Ri 5357 m

Day 09: Trek Gokyo to Thangnag Kharka 5025m, 4 hrs walking

Day 10: Cross Cho La Pass 5330m and descend to Dongla 4830m, 7 hrs walking

Day 11: Trek Dongla to Lobuche 4930m, 4 hrs walking

Day 12: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep 5170m. Day trek to Everest Base Camp 5360m

Day 13: Early morning climb to Kalapathar 5550m, and then trek to Pheriche 4243m

Day 14: Trek to Pheriche to Namche Bazzar, 9 hrs walking

Day 15: Trek Namche Bazzar to Lukla, 8 hrs walking

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu Free day in Kathmandu

Day 17: Transfer to the International Airport for your final departure

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Our representative will come to meet you and take to you hotel after getting refreshment we will let you know about the trekking, introduce with guide/porter. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02:  Kathmandu  to Lukla (  2840m  ) 30 min Flight then trek to Phakding 2660m, 3 hrs walking
In the early morning flight, lukla after 30-minute flight you will reach at Lukla airport then trek to phakding 3 hours walking you will reach the phakding .Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 03:  Trek Phakding to Namche Bazzar 3440m
Trekking will starts after having breakfast at lodge. You will cross long suspension bridge over the Dhudh Koshi River that is originated from Khumbu glacier. This day you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo village. You have lunch in Jorsale.The path goes ahead along the Dudha Koshi River. You will cross another suspension bridge in Larja Dobhan. From here, the trail moves to steep stairway through pine forest. After 30-minute steep walking you can see Mt. Everest (8848m). The trail goes up until Namche Bazaar through the alpine forest. You will be charmed to see Namche Bazaar. The Namche bazaar is gateway of the Everest base camp trekking. You will enjoy at Namche bazaar by staying two nights.

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Excursion around and around Syangboche
Rest day in Namche Bazaar is especially for acclimatization with altitude. This day you can walk around Namche Bazaar and See Locality. After the breakfast some steep walking to Syangboche (3880m you can see Mt. Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8516m), Ama Dablam(6814m), Thamserku(6618m) and many more mountains. The track descends half an hour to the Khumjung village (3780m), the village of Sherpas, after having lunch trek back to the Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Trek Namche to Dole 4200m, 8 hrs walking
The trek starts steep stone staircase over the Namche. After the top, the trail becomes easier and trail curve the Dhudhkosi valley.  By walking, you can see far-fetched Khumbu valley with world highest mountains and Tengboche Monastery.  Two hours of walking, you will reach to Sanasa.  After taking some rest, you will continue climb to Mong Danda. From here, you will see the splendid views of Mt. Ama Sablam, Mt. Kangtaga and Mt. Thamserku with Dudhkosi valley. The trail ascends away from the Phortse Tenga passing through the Rhododendron and pine forest. After twenty minute, steep climb first appears Cho Oyo.  You will cross the beautiful waterfall, forests, bridges and yak pasture. Then reach to Dole.

Day 06: Trek Dole to Macchhermo 4790m, 5 hrs walking
Today is easy day and better view of in your past days. From Dole the trail descend to stream than cross the wooden bridge. You will cross the few teahouses, the path go up one hour to top hill. You can take time here for picture.  After about two hours walking from Dole you will reach in Luza. Here you can take rest and tea. From Luza trail becomes an up along the side of valley than cross the more high pastureland and chorten with prayers flags. Many writers saying yeti killed the Sherpa women and Yak here. Form this hill charming view of eastern part Gokyo valley, Mt. Taboche and Mt. Cholatse. Then walk down to Machhermo valley. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Trek Machchermo to Gokyo 4790 m, 5 hours walking
On this day trek From Machhermo to Gokyo the trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down valley to Kangtega and up towards to Cho-Oyu. Beyond the ridge, the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at 4390m then descends to the riverbank before beginning the climb onto the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. It is a steep climb up the moraine, switch backing alongside the stream to the first small lake Longponga where a family of Brahmin ducks has resided for many years. After first lake, the trail now becomes almost level as it follows the valley past a second lake known as Taujung and continue trek to Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Teahouse

Day 08: Day hike to Gokyo Ri 5357 m
Early in the morning, we will climb up to the top of Gokyo RI (5357m). from where you can see  eye-catching views of the Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an far-fetched panoramic view of the whole Khumbu mountains range, such giants as Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7879m), Makalu (8481m), Cholaste (6335m), Tabuche peak (6495m) and Gychung Kang (7922m). After enjoy the beautiful views at Gokyo Ri then return to Gokyo (4750m) overnight stay at teahouse.

Day 09: Trek Gokyo to Thangnag Kharka 5025m, 4 hrs walking
On this day  trek from Gokyo lake the trail bit ascends then after trail smoothly up and down in glacier after that about forty five minutes smoothly descends along the valley to reach at Thangana (4700m) known as base camp of Cho La Pass. Along the trail, you will see the fine views of mountains and natural beauty. It is wonderful trip from Gokyo Lake to Thangna but in Thangna only basic and limited teahouse facilities are available in here. Stay Overnight at teahouse

Day 10: Cross Cho La Pass 5330m and descend to Dongla 4830m, 7 hrs walking
Today is a long trek starting early in the morning at 4:00 am to reach the pass by 9-10 am otherwise weather situation will very much affect your trip. You will cross over at an altitude of 5300 meters. You might be face to strong winds if crossing too late. You start to climb steeply that is regularly used and easy to follow. However, the problem may occur due to the altitude and snow. It habitually causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by snow. As you reach the top, you will rewarded by the splendid views then you descend to the Dzongla at noon. Stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 11: Trek Dongla to Lobuche 4930m, 4 hrs walking
The track continues along the moraine from Dzongla affording you superb views of Kala Pattar and Pumori before you reach Lobuche. Today you will walk around 4 – 5 hours and and also not hard trail from Dzongla to Lobuche so you can enjoy the trip after crossing the Cho La Pass (5368m).. On the way you have a excellent Views of Ama Dablam, the Nuptse-Lhotse, Everest, Pumori, Lobuche peak etc. Lobuche is a small village situated nearby the stream and the sunset on Nuptse is a memorable sight.  Stay overnight at  Lodge/ Tea House.

Day 12: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep 5170m. Day trek to Everest Base Camp 5360m
Today, From Lobuche in beginning you walk along the flat trial through yak pasture trail (50 minutes). Then you have to walk in glacier. The trail is rough and icy in some part.  Along the way you can enjoy far-fetched views of Pumori (7167m) Lingtren (6713m), Khumbutse (6639m), Nuptse (7879m),  Lobuche east (6090m) as well as Khumbu glacier and icefall. After finishing several bands you will a bit descends to Gorak Shep (5140m). After reaching Gorak Shep you may have your lunch and leave your bag pack at teahouse then start your journey to Everest base camp (5364m). You will spend about 4 and half hours trek up to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorak shep. The trek trail is on glacier and snow capped rocks. You can also see many small frozen lakes around the Everest Base Camp. The most impressive view from Everest base camp is the Khumbu icefall. After enjoying beautiful moment at the Everest base camp then return back to Gorak Shep. Stay Overnight at teahouse /Lodge.

Day 13: Early morning climb to Kalapathar 5550m, and then trek to Pheriche 4243m
After having early breakfast around 5:00 AM you will start to climb Kalapatthar.  This morning you might feel cold because temperature may go down -2 to -3 degree Celsius. After nearly two and half hour climbing, you will reach on top of the Kalapatthar . There you will get little bit strong wind. Kalapatthar is one of the key points for the immense view of Mount Everest (8848m). Enjoy the view of Mt. Everest and other several mountains. In Kalapathhar, you can see people sharing exciting moments each other. From here you can also see Everest Base camp just below. After a while, return back to Gorak Shep. Trek back to Pheriche(4240m). Stay overnight at lodge/Tea house.

Day 14: Trek to Pheriche to Namche Bazzar, 9 hrs walking
Today you will cross-river, which is the origin from Everest Base Camp. This path desends through the yak pasture land with stunning view of the Amadablum , Khantega and Thamserku mountains. On the way, you can visit Tengboche Monastery. This is the biggest biggest monastery in mountain region in Nepal it is located at 3880m. The path gradually descends until to Namche Bazar passing through rhododendron and pine forest after crossing suspension bridge over the Dudhakoshi River. Finnaly you will reach Namche Bazaar. Stay Overnight at Lodge/Tea House.

Day 15: Trek Namche Bazzar to Lukla, 8 hrs walking
Trek back to Lukla, it takes nearly 6/7 hours, stopping lunch at Phakding.

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu Free day in Kathmandu
Early morning fly back to Kathmandu. We will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel after refreshment you have a time for shopping and walk around the thamel.

Day 17: Transfer to the International Airport for your final departure
This is the final day of your Nepal visit, we will send to you International Airport according to your flight schedule.
