Gokyo Lake trekking is an alternative way to the traditional Everest base camp trekking. It also starts from Lukla after Thirty Minute Mountain flight from Kathmandu. Gokyo Lake Trek covers 5,350 meter as a maximum altitude. Mountainous valleys, alpine lakes, and numerous glaciers surround the Gokyo lake area. It is less crowded than others in the Everest region are and takes eleven days to complete from Kathmandu to Kathmandu except Two night in Kathmandu.

Day 01:  Pick up from Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu  to Lukla, (2840 m ) 30 min  flight  then trek to Phakding, 3 hours walking

Day 03: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazzar 3440 m

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazzar.

Day 05: Trek Namche Bazzar to Dole, 4200 m, 7 hours walking

Day 06: Trek Dole to Machchermo, 4470 m, 4 hours walking

Day 07: Trek Machchermo to Gokyo 4790 m, 5 hours walking

Day 08: Day hike to Gokyo Ri 5357 m

Day 09: Trek Gokyo to Dole 4200m, 5 hours walking

Day 13: Transfer to the International Airport for your final departure

Day 01:  Pick up from Airport and transfer to hotel.
Our Representative will pick you up from airport and check in to hotel after refreshment we will take to our Great outdoor is office. We will brief about the trekking.

Day 02: Kathmandu  to Lukla, (2840 m ) 30 min  flight  then trek to Phakding, 3 hours walking
An early morning we will drive to domestic airport as per the flight time then fly to Lukla after 30 minute flight you will reach Lukla airport our trekking guides will welcome to you. From here your trekking will start. It is a short and not so challenging hike. On reaching Phakding, you will have enough time to relax and get use to the new surroundings. You will be spending rest of the day and night in Phakding itself

Day 03: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazzar 3440 m
After breakfast trek will start through a beautiful pine forest and after crossing a number of suspension bridges the track leads us along the Dudh Koshi River.The walk is very pleasant with magnificent views of Thermasarkhu (6,608m).Through the settlement of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, we come to the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. A short descent to the Jorsaleand Village and the trail will lead us towards Namche Bazaar. The walk is pleasant along the riverbed and then followed by winding uphill path, with the first sight of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse Nuptseridge; a short hike will leads us to our destination of the day, Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading center of Khumbu region. Stay the night at Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazzar.
Today is the rest day or we would call it an acclimatization day as this day is to make you accustom to the new surroundings. In this day, we will have a short hiking session to the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snowcapped giants and the valleys below. We will also visit the Sagarmatha Museum and gain some knowledge about the history of the Himalayas, geography, culture; mountaineering, flora and fauna of this region and many more. We will spend the night in Namche itself and prepare for the next day.

Day 05: Trek Namche Bazzar to Dole, 4200 m, 7 hours walking

This day the trail at first slightly ascend for a while up to the Chor camp at Namche Bazzar then continue easy level walk to kyangjuma. Along the way from chor camp at Namche bazaar to kyangjuma you can enjoy unbelievable view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse shar, Nuptse, peak- 38, Ama dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kusum kangaru, Cholaste,Tabuche peak, Khumbi La and  Kwangde Ri.

From kyangjuma the trail follows for a while easy level walk through Rhododendron forest to sanasa . From here the trail steep climb up approximately one and half hour to reach at Mongla danda . where there are a few teahouse and a chorten so you may rest here for a while and enjoy magnificent view of Mt. Ama dablam including numerous mountains. The trail from Mongla danda descends in steep bends trail to Phortse thanga . After Phortse, continue trek to Dole, from here the trail climbs steeply out of the valley through a patch of rhododendron forest which gives way to juniper and conifers trees. From after Phortse Thanga the trail climbs steeply through rhododendron and junipers forests then after small part level walks before to reach at Dole. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 06: Trek Dole to Machchermo, 4470 m, 4 hours walking
This day trek from Dole to Machhermo you will go up steadily along the side of the valley, where the small and sharp bushes give way to scrub juniper as the altitude increases. The trail passes many summer settlements, which are used when yaks are taken to these pastures to graze in the summer months. we will arrive at Machermo on best time for the overnight stop and camp. At top of the village there is an excellent view surrounding Cho Oyo and all the mountains that side the Ngozumba Glacier. We will stay overnight at teahouse

Day 07: Trek Machchermo to Gokyo 4790 m, 5 hours walking
On this day trek From Machhermo to Gokyo the trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down valley to Kangtega and up towards to Cho-Oyu. Beyond the ridge, the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at 4390m then descends to the riverbank before beginning the climb onto the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. It is a steep climb up the moraine, switch backing alongside the stream to the first small lake Longponga where a family of Brahmin ducks has resided for many years. After first lake the trail now becomes almost level as it follows the valley past a second lake known as Taujung and continue trek to Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Teahouse

Day 08: Day hike to Gokyo Ri 5357 m
Early in the morning, we will climb up to the top of Gokyo RI (5357m). from where you can see  eye-catching views of the Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an far-fetched panoramic view of the whole Khumbu mountains range, such giants as Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7879m), Makalu (8481m), Cholaste (6335m), Tabuche peak (6495m) and Gychung Kang (7922m). After enjoy the beautiful views at Gokyo Ri then return to Gokyo (4750m) overnight stay at teahouse.

Day 09: Trek Gokyo to Dole 4200m, 5 hours walking
Today the trek back to Dole is an easy downhill walk along the Dudh Koshi River that emerges out of the Ngozumpa Glacier. Passing by the second and then the first Gokyo Lakes and continue trek descends to Pangka (4390m). Along the path, you will see stunning view of Cholaste (6335m) and Tabuche (6495m) peaks rear up on the right of us. The trail descends below Pangka, and across a level terrace on the slope to climb a rib on the far side of the hill side. Upon reaching the Chorten at the edge, we see enormous views of Thamserku, Cho Oyu, and Kangtega . We slowly walk down to rambling village of Machhermo. Again, through the pleasant settlement of Luza and Lhabarma then finally reach at Dole (4090m). Stay Overnight at Teahouse

Day 10: Trek Dole to Namche Bazzar 3440, 5 hours walking
Today, we start steep descent to Phortse Tenga. Our hike today is mostly down hills. The most outstanding feature of the trail today is the abundance of plant and animal vegetation including wildflowers and Rhododendrons. We can see the Waterfalls on the way. Upon reaching MongLa, a very wonderfully located lovely place perched on the spur of Mt. Khumbila. We take revised look at Tabuche, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, and a distant view of Tengboche. Now, trail to Namche clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends. Upon coming to Namche army camp hill, we look back to see Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse (8516m), Lhotse shar (8382m), Nuptse (7879m), peak- 38(7591m), Ama dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6623m), Kangtega (6783m), Kusum kangaru (6367), Cholaste (6335m), Tabuche peak (6495m), Khumbi La (5765m) and Kwangde Ri (6011m). After enjoying beautiful view from viewpoint then trek downhill to Namche Bazaar (3440m) stay overnight at teahouse.

Day 11: Trek Namche Bazzar to Lukla, 6 hours walking
Trek back to Lukla, it takes nearly 6/7 hours, stopping lunch at Phakding.

Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu. Free day in Kathmandu
Early morning fly back to Kathmandu. We will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel after refreshment you have a time for shopping and walk around the thamel.

Day 13: Transfer to the International Airport for your final departure
This is the final day of your Nepal visit, we will send to you International Airport according to your flight schedule.
